Chapter 1 · Discovery
Behind almost every “Careers” link is one of 21 applicant-tracking systems. Fivenines opens each page in a real browser, identifies which platform the company runs on, and pulls the latest roles straight from that platform's own public API — first-hand and always current. No middlemen, no stale listings.

Chapter 3 · Evaluation
A raw posting isn't trustworthy data yet. For every job, the model pulls out what matters — remote? an SRE/DevOps role? what does it pay? — and quotes the exact line that backs each answer. We score that quote against the source; below a 90% match it doesn't ship. The model reads and quotes; fixed rules decide the verdict. So nothing in your feed is invented.
Senior Software Engineer I · App Observability · Honeycomb.io We're a fully distributed company hiring backend engineers who work in Go. You'll participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliable operations. Base salary: $160,000 - $180,000 USD.
Salaries are held to a stricter bar — the exact figure must appear in the posting, or we never show one.
Chapter 4 · The dossier
Before you apply, you'd want to know who you'd actually be working for — the questions you'd spend a week digging for. So we ask them for you, answer each from public sources, and link every answer back to where it came from. Cited when we can stand behind it, flagged when we can't.
An observability platform for high-cardinality production data — real-time answers, no pre-aggregation, deep OpenTelemetry roots.
youHow do they pay?
Above market — competitive, top-tier pay bands held even across its fully remote, distributed team.
Fivenines · via Welcome to the JungleyouWill I burn out?
Loved: a mature, remote-first culture with real trust and progressive stipends. Watch: scaling pains — slower decisions and enterprise-onboarding friction as it grows.
Fivenines · via ComparablyyouWhat's the interview like?
2–4 stages: an application or recruiter screen, a technical/system-design round, then a culture conversation. Candidates rate it exceptionally positive — same-week feedback, no gotcha questions.
Fivenines · via ComparablyyouWill they still be around in two years?
Minimal structural risk — $150M raised through a Series D, a real cash buffer, no forced downrounds or layoffs through the recent tech crunch.
Fivenines · via TechCrunchyouAnd what couldn't you find?
A full Glassdoor breakdown — an overall score exists but too few reviews to publish the rest. We'd rather flag the gap than guess.

Chapter 5 · The match
Everything so far built one clean, verified corpus. This is where it meets you: your résumé and what you actually want, embedded as two separate vectors and blended — so a long CV can't drown a one-line intent. The nearest roles surface, and you steer the ranking live: a hard filter drops a role, a soft weight only nudges it.
Senior SRE, platform teams. Loves Go and IaC. No Java shops. Pay matters.
